New E-System lenses

For the rest the Super K100D is the same as the normal version: 6.1 megapixel CCD (with 23.5 x 15.7 mm) and system Shake Reduction (SR) to reduce the effects of camera movement, even in light conditions criticism. The quality of the sensor are not limited only to size but, in fact this third generation of CMOS are characterized by a new design of the positioning of pixels, 6.4 microns hours away and the new noise reduction placed directly on the sensor.

The system conversion analog / digital, as in the EOS 40D, 14-bit, which allows an increase of identification color per channel providing a much greater detail than the 1Ds Mark II. From the point of view of the new sensor sensitivity allows you to select between ISO 100 and 1600 expandable to 50 as a minimum and a maximum 3200.

Canon EOS 40D - Body Machine

Canon EOS 40D - CMOS Sensor

The reflex is, however, lacks the display and no additional offers the same image quality to ISO 1600.

The new machine has a number of interesting features and promises
Remarkable speed, image quality, functions Live View avazate and maximum reliability.
